You might find something here.  He offers kits or built up.

I use his grade crossing gate circuit.

Elmer.

The above is my opinion, from an active and experienced Model Railroader in N scale and HO since 1961.

(Modeling Freelance, Eastern US, HO scale, in 1962, with NCE DCC for locomotive control and a stand alone LocoNet for block detection and signals.) http://waynes-trains.com/ at home, and N scale at the Club.

My layout is all Digitrax.  I use a BDL168 block detector and DS64 stationary decoder.

If that was the only function involved it would be expensive, but I have other uses for the products as well.  The BDL168 can monitor 16 blocks, and each of my 8 DS64s can control 4 switches, so the cost of using one segment of each is minimal.

I have used a Dallee electronics crossing flasher module activated by an NCE BD20 current detector attached to the track feeder that is at the crossing.

Crossing signals
Posted by Rizard53 on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 9:14 PM

I am new to model railroading.   I purchased Busch crossing signals(HO 5934) from my local hobby shop.

I am using a DCC controller but plan to run the crossing lights with a separate power unit.   Does anyone have any suggestions about the best electronic processor to activate the crossing lights as the train approaches the crossing.

                                     Thanks,

                                      Rick
