MacTrom1) there should have been spring wires included in the box
My recollection of those things is that they included that hairpin style spring wire in the box.
I think this link will show that spring wire they're talking about: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.agtta.com/Lionel/switch-machine-c.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.modeltrainjournal.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f%3D2%26t%3D12539%26start%3D15&h=595&w=776&sz=61&tbnid=GNq73k52oYlN-M:&tbnh=90&tbnw=117&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dtenshodo%2Bswitch%2Bmachine%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=tenshodo+switch+machine&usg=__aZ0ija7FJ4Q2sIYEffPEosDHHCE=&docid=2Gq0raAjREiJrM&hl=en&sa=X&ei=qoUhUeL7GaLs0QGdzIDADQ&sqi=2&ved=0CFsQ9QEwBg&dur=179
I recently purchased two used Tenshodo switch machines and they look like they are in brand new condition, but the instructions indicate a spring wire to be used connecting the machine to the turnout throw bar. There were no spring wires included. I'm just wondering if:
1) there should have been spring wires included in the box
2) if said spring wire would be available from another source.
My first use of these. I also have Tortise and Peco machines that I will be using elsewhere on my layout.
