As you probably know, MTH is not DCC, but DCS. Most things work with my Digitrax DCC however--on my MTH SD70ACe. But, as I recall there are some different function numbers and honestly to run the loco again, I would have to get the manual out and check.
It is an awesome loco and I like the remote/DCS couplers.

Are you hitting F3 for the startup sequence? With MTH you have to start the locomotive before everything works.
If that still doesn't work, try resetting the decoder back to factory defaults. Consult the manual on how to do this.
If resetting doesn't fix it, then call MTH customer service.

I have tried both the F0 and the headlight button on the power Cab. Nothing changes the headlights and/or ditich lights do not work. Thanks for the suggestion and the response
tstage fitztrains Tried F0 and the light function on the power cab but no job, still no lights. Are you saying that you tried both F0 and the headlight button on your Power Cab? If not, try the pressing the headlight button to the right of the bell button. Tom

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
I am new to the world of DCC, and have chosen NCE, I just have a test track set up to try and learn more about the DCC, I have just purchased an MTH SD70 ACE, love the engine just using the factory settings everything works except headlights and ditch lights, F5 turns on cab/number boards but that is it, Tried F0 and the light function on the power cab but no job, still no lights. Has anyone seen this before, or can you offer any suggestions. Keep it simple as I said new to the DCC world and MTH for that matter.
Thanks Tom
