Just bought one of these and it runs decent (not like my Model Power 4-6-2 Pacific). The motor is a little noisy, as it only has the stock DCC decoder in it. Eventually I want to replace the stock DCC decoder with a Soundtraxx Tsunami DCC decoder, but I don't want the engine noise to go over the noise of the speaker.
Has anyone ever replaced/remotored the motor on the 4-8-2 Heavy Mountain? If so, what motor did you use and how hard was it to do?
