That's kinda, not good, since 18V is really too much for most HO.

HI John,
Could you show us a photo of the smoke, or better yet, a short video?
Thanks!!
Well, I figured it out. First, the function key which works the smoke is F2 (whistle) which is momentary so
.s you have to
remap that to a latching key, Then, Digitrax Zephyr does not have enough track voltage for the
Roco 18 volt smoke generator. Change power to NCE procab and everything is working as it should.
You have to increase the track voltage which you can do with Procab.
Thanks all
John
Not impressed with Roco's website; a manual would be nice!!
Smoke-equipped steamers sometimes have an on-off switch for the smoke hidden away in some odd little corner (I've got an MTH where the switch is under the fill cap on the tender). Any switches in sight? Failing that, any suspicious little hatches that could be flipped open?
Streamlined steam, oh, what a dream!!
AFAIK, all you have to do is press a function key, but I don´t know which one´s the one for shutting off/on the smoke. Usually, this is stated in the manual.
Just baught a Roco HO BR10 with dynamic smoke. I can't figure out how to turn on the smoke in DCC.
Thanks
