Programming loco address for MTH SD70ACe?
Posted by Acela026 on Friday, December 28, 2012 9:39 PM

I'm still fairly new to the whole DCC thing.  I understand most of it pretty well, but still go easy on me please Geeked.

I have an MTH SD70ACe that I can't seem to get neither the short/long addresses reprogrammed.  I am able to use it under the deafult 003 address, which is fine since I was able to get the other two DCC equipped locomotives I have reprogrammed. (Digitrax decoders)

Is there something that either I am doing wrong or that I need to do differently for the MTH loco? I know the MTH locos tend to be finicky with DCC...

I use an NCE system.  Help?

Thanks! Acela

(Please, I have already had my fill of people bashing MTH stuff, so try not to bring that up... Sigh)

NCE has a link to just what you are looking for on their web site:

Thanks! I forgot the part about changing CV29. That's why it didn't respond to it's cab number....
