i just purchased a ur92 for my digitrax system and hooked it up like the instructions explained and it is not working with my throttle. The light is flashing green on the ur92 but when i plug in the dt402d throttle and remove it there is no connection my throttle will not do anything. i have a db150 for my command station. Any ideas. Also put brand new batts in my throttle.
Make sure the radio is turned on in the throttle. The manual will have the steps to walk through the various throttle settings. Turn IR off and Duplex on so it connects via radio. Also, is the UR92 powered? It needs the PS14 power supply, it will not get enough power via the loconet to operate reliably. And finally, once you have verified that duplex is on in the throttle, make sure you follow the procedures to set the ID - generally plugging in once should be sufficient.

Yes i had it plugged into the wall with ps14 and i reset the ur92 per instruction manual and then plugged the DT402D into the ur92 and the throttle showed nothing on the display when i unplugged it. I had a brand new battery in it. I sent the throttle into digitrax to see if they can test it and repair if needed. Thanks for your input Randy we'll see what happens in a few weeks when i get it back.
Too late now if you already sent it back, but showed NOTHING? Sounds liek the battery wasn;t so fresh, or was in backwards. Even if it fails to see the radio, the display should not go instantly blank with a good battery installed.
Did you plug the throttle directly in to the DB150 to see if it worked?
On my DT400R throttle it does not need batteries when plugged in to the system. Do the new DT400D's need this? I don't think they would.

They don;t need batteries when plugged in, but they do to unplug and actually use the radio.
Let me know what happened.. I have troubles with my DT402D. It seems like I need to leave it plugged for a minute or two before it works via radio- that is if it works at all.
