Get some rechargeables, or you will be spending money on new batteries.

Yep, you need to purchase your own batteries - - - four AAA batteries.

I just bought an NCE Power Pro and Cab 06, neither were supplied with batteries.  They take 4-AAA batteries.

Are the batteries included with the NCE Power Pro R system?  If not what batteries are needed?

If you are speaking about the backup battery in the command station, it is a 2032 3-volt lithium battery.  I believe that one should come already installed.

If you're speaking about the batteries in the handset, it needs quantity 4 tripple-A batteries.  I don't remember if these are included or not.  I would suspect that they are included, but I would have some spares available.  Or you can get rechargeable AAA batteries.
