That's not the type of answer I was looking for but thanks for your effort. I've found a solution.
jasperofzeal PennCentral99 thanks for sharing your method for making wheel wipers. I will definitely keep this link for future use since I have a project that will benefit from it.

Thanks. I wish I could take credit, but it's not my method. Like you have just done, I saved the link from a fellow forum member (rrinker). I have gotten many great ideas, how too's and methods from this site.
I have not benefited from this method (yet), but some day I will give it a try (like putting lights in a caboose).
HAPPY RAILROADING!!
Too bad the person that started this thread doesn't have the courtesy of giving you (or anyone that helps him) thanks for any information or tips that he's looking for. This bad habit of his will quickly make his requests for help go unanswered. I for one will not help this joker anymore.

I don't know if you're interested, but you can make your own:

I've found several vendors that make axle contact wipers for HO scale trucks or boogies. One example is: SbS4DCC. Would anyone out there suggest a top quality or a popular vendor by means of comparison? Are the ones from this page good for most applications?

I will be needing them for some Bachmann Acela coaches a Walthers Comet II cab car and a Bachmann Double decker commuter coach.
