Hello all,
I asked this question once before but forgot to write down the answer. I think they call it dementure.
I have a Tsunami that I appear to have lost the address of. In the confusion of going from a standard address to an extended address things went a little wrong , and now I don't know where I am.
I do know that there are CV's to program in that will give the address of 00 and that all other locos have to be removed from the track, otherwise they too will be reprogrammed, just can't remember what they are.
If someone could help, this would make an old duffer very happy
Kind regards Colin
TA462 The address would be 03 from the factory. From there you can start over and change the address. Which system are you using?

Depending on the DCC system being used, the address will not always be 03 -- NCE, as an example, doesn't use a leading zero for an address.
To the OP: If you haven't reset the decoder and know what long address you gave it, try setting CV 29 to a value of 34 before doing anything else, and see if the loco will then run on the long address you tried to program into it.
Thankyou Cacole,
I did as you suggest and yes everything seems O.K. I remembered to change the value in CV29 but I think I might have hit the wrong button or something. Good thing I ain't firing cruise missiles, eh!!!
Many Thanks Colin
