Any and all LocoNet-compatable devices can exist on the LocoNet together because, well, they're LocoNet-compatable.

However, I'm guessing you're asking something more, possibly about how they can be used together or something of that nature.  If so, before anyone can answer you'll need to restate your question with more specifics.

Yes, through the LocoNet cable only.

However, if the switch machines that you are using are Tortoises, the SE8C can also control eight of them.

I only meant to connect it to Loconet by plugging to port A or B on  SRC16 and SE8C . Not for the SRC16 and SE8C to connect to each other directly.

Yup, Loconet certified devices from any manufacturer can coexist on the Loconet chain. Addressable board (those used for inputs and outputs) need to have unique addresses to that the various inputs and outputs don;t overlap, but other than that, just run a Loconet cable from one device to the next one.
