I have an old power pack, I am in the process of getting a new one.  My track is clean, I run all sorts of sound loco's, like Intermountain, Proto, and Athearn Genesis and I never ever get a problem with them starting really slow with good sound, but for some reason, the Bowsers run terribly.Thanks.

What power pack are you using? If it is one of the MRC units with pulse power it needs to be turned off. The pulses will confuse the decoder.  Another thing to do is clean your wheels and track. Sound locomotives take a lot more power to get them to make sound and move too.

Sound for Bowser AS616

I just got a Bowser HO  AS616 with Tsunami sound.  I run straight DC, but it does not run right.  It jerks and the headlights blink real fast before it moves.  Other engines I have from different manufacturers run just fine  Did I screw up by getting the engine for straight DC, or am I doing something wrong.  Thanks.
