If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

Mike:

You will get a better response to your post if you go to the "Classic Toy Trains" site and post on that forum. Just go to the top of this page and you will find the "Trains.com Sites" button. click on that and it will take you to where you want to go.  Good luck on refurbishing your dad's train.

Sorry guys I have absolutely no clue what I am doing here. lol I found a old train from back in my dads childhood and for a surprise I want to put it around the christmas tree for him. I found the track, cars and transformer(lionel 4150) I know there is supposed to be a piece of track with a connector on it and that goes to the transformer. Well I cant find it anywhere!! Can I solider the wires on the track? If so which ones gets wires? Sorry if this is in the wrong section or a dumb question your dealing with a 18 year old lol. If you need anymore info about the track or train I will gladly post up some pics.
