Where can I find 3mm and 5mm 12V faint white/ golden white LEDs if their is any, or do those only come in 1.5V
They're actually about 3.2 - 3.6 volts. A "12v" LED is just an LED with the resistor built in. I use Miniatronics Yelo-Glo LEDs for my first generation diesels, and a 1K resistor is perfect for DCC. No calculating, just use 1K. The calculation comes out to 1K anyway.

Alright then. Thanks
Be advised, LED's will not work on 1.5 volts. Any decoder with 1.5 volt tabs are for 1.5 volt light bulbs only. The instructions will be very clear as some confuse light bulbs with LED's.
The term LED light bulbs is because some LED's are coming as a package with the resistor built in for model railroad users, usually for 12 volts, though in the 1990's I use to install LED light bulbs that operated on 120VAC for industrial machines.
LED's have come a long way. You can now buy LED light bulbs for 120vac home light fixtures.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
I bought some 12v warm white LED's on Ebay and they work great for headlights in my Rivarossi Big Boy and Challenger as well as rear lights in their tenders. I like them when there isn't much room for a resistor also. Don't remember who they were from but if I can find the paperwork I will post it. I think All Electronics also sells some.
