I am wondering if anyone here has the Railpro system, and what their thoughts on the system is. I am in the process of doing my homework on it right now and thinking of switching over to it. I know it will cost a bit to get started, but it seems like I nice system to work with. I do have a digitrax system, but may just sell it to switch over, as it seems an easier system to work with for someone new like my wife will be when it comes to running the layout. I just want to know if you have had an issues or thoughts on it. also what its like with a signal system

As I understand this system, You have to pull your decoders and put in the decoders for RailPro.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
I have seen the system demonstrated to me.
You can use Rail-Pro decoder equipped units on your Digitrax system. Rail-Pro is a wireless (radio) system. So any Rail-Pro decoder equipped units will not respond to the Digitrax throttle. The Rail-Pro locomotives will respond to just the Rail-Pro throttle, but it does use the Digitrax power. Your non Rail-Pro units (Digitrax or others) will still run on your Digitrax throttle.
I don’t know about the signal system.
The DCC power on the rails keeps the battery charged in the RailPro decoder.
