One of the best sound decoders is a LokSound Select. I installed one of these into a AC6000 model and it sounds better than a Tsunami, IMHO. It's also smaller.
Having many Paragon locos I've continued to use Digitrax DZ125 (1 Amp), very small. Since all the Paragon rewuires is a motor controller for DCC an decoder will work as long as it fits and the DZ125 fits great. Be sure to order it with the 8 opin plug unless you are capable or soldering on to the leads.
Is this the loco?

A Tsunami would work. Not sure of the clearance for a light board decoder. The TSU would plug in nicely. No idea about extra lights though. All I have are the PCM F3 and BLI F7 sets.
Get a 9 pin to 8 pin adapter to plug the TSU into the 8 pin connector. If the diagram I show is the correct one, two speakers wired in series.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
A year ago I purchased a BLI Paragon NW-2 that had the decoder removed. They unplugged everything and left the speaker. I was unable to get a true "drop in" replacement. A Soundtraxx Tsunami was suggested. I sold the loco before I bought the new decoder.
Gentlemen
For a birtday present my wife and son gave me a GE AC6000cw paragon stealth engine undecorated. I already have 2 1 paragon & 1 paragon 2. My problem is I can't get a decoder for my engine. QSI made the decoder for paragons prior to paragon 2 series. what decoder can I use that has sound and DCC.
