Also the Bachmann Decapod uses a plastic light tube from the boiler to the headlight to emit light from a bulb inside. best to eliminate that tube and place a bulb directly in the headlight casting.you 'll need to replace the plastic headlight casting with a metal/brass detail part....not hard to do.

If it is a yellow LED it is much more dim than the older ones that used bulbs.....

I have a habit nowadays to replace all of the OEM lights with warm white LED´s with higher brightness.

I have a recently purchased bachmann 2-10-0.  The engine runs fine and all the sounds work.  But the light barely lights up when I turn on that function.  I have other bachmann DCC steam engines and they all have bright headlights.  Could this be a problem with a 'CV that needs to be changed or is it more likely an electrical problem that I will have to go to bachmann about.  All help will be greatly appreciated.
