I don't own any Loksound decoders, but I was under the impression they were made in Germany. If they were originally a German product, now that they are built in China, has the price came down? I doubt it. Most items produced in China are engineered elsewhere. The problems usually associated with Chinese manufacturing is not the engineering, it's the quality control.

So? I bet most electronics today are made in china.....

As long as they are designed by Germans, I bet they work in a Teutonic way!

I recently purchased a LokSound Select decoder and was surprised to see "Made in China" on the packaging.  I though LokSound was still made in Germany.

I just hope they're not made by the same people who make that other sound decoder that so many people complain about on these forums.
