Hi- When wiring track for DCC, and using properly wired frog juicers from Tam valley depot, is it neccessary to gap the rails in a  facing point turnout situation?

The frog needs to be fully isolated.  Check it with your ohmeter - if there is connection to _any_ other rail  the Frog Juicer won't work.

Which turnouts are you using?  Most are "DCC Friendly" and don't require special wiring, but some do.
