Even if the lights were independent, the DZ125IN only has 2 function outputs. For alternately flashing ditch lights you need at least 3 functions - headlight, left ditch light, and right ditch light. And a fourth function for the rear light.

Ditch Lights with FVM ES44AC with Digitrax DZ125IN?
Posted by mjmueller on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 6:22 PM

Hello:

I just installed two Digitrax DZ125IN Decoders on my Fox Valley Models ES44AC's.  I was wondering if I can independently run the lights on either side of ditch lights, or are the standard lights not capable of this?

Thank You.
