Wiring keepalive capacitor for Soundtraxx Tsunami?
Posted by tbdanny on Thursday, March 24, 2011 5:29 PM

Hi,

A couple of months ago, I installed a TSU-750 decoder in a brass C-25 HOn3 locomotive.  I have only just been able to test this locomotive, and have discoveed that the keep-alive capacitor will actually be needed.

I seem to recall reading in the installation leaflet that came with the decoder that the keep-alive needs to be wired between the green and blue wires.  Unfortunately, I seem to have misplaced this leaflet, and Soundtraxx hasn't been able to advise me on this, nor does any of the documentation on their site contained detailed instructions on the installation of the keep-alive.  Can someone who has done a similar installation provide these details?

Thanks in advance,

tbdanny
