CVP Products of Richardson, Texas, makers of the EasyDCC system, have ZoneMaster boosters that can supposedly work with any other brand of DCC system.

But since MRC refuses to reveal any of the technical data about their Prodigy systems, whether any other booster can be used with their system is questionable. It seems they want you to use their product or no product, even though all of the other DCC manufacturers willingly provide detailed technical information and schematics about their systems, including pinouts of all the required connectors so you can fabricate your own interface cables.
The bachmann booster is one that can be used with other systems.

Also Tam valley has an auxiliary 3 amp booster that is compatible with other systems and is very cheap.

Sometimes. For MRC there isn;t a 'control bus' to feed signals to extra boosters, the booster will get its signal from the track output. You would not want to run track off the base system output then, as a short there would shut down everything. You also want ot look for a booster that has an optically isolated input, or optoisolator.
