any one ever change the cord on the DT or UT throttles ?

 Soldered in. Just make or buy an extension. Doesn't void the warranty and also keeps the plug on the attached cord in good condition since you won't be using it allt he time.

 it may sound a bit off the wall, but has any changed the RJ cables on there digitrax hand helds ether UT or DT series ? reason I ask is Id like to have a longer leash rather than more plug-in spots ,just currious of how the cables attach inside the handhelds (solder or screw ect) ...Jerry
