I'm using the Digitrax PR3 connected to the DB150 control station via loco Net. I have no problem with the connection between the pc and the PR3 interface.
But i am not able to access the loco net at all. The Pr3 is set to interface mode. The loco Net cable is good. But I can't control anything on the layout from the JMRI Decoder Pro Throttle on the PC.
The PR3 is not in termination mode.
I'm sure it's a setting in the software but i can't find anything anywhere on the digitrax or JMRI site that would prevent it from working.
The verison of Decorder Pro is 2.10 running on Windows XP.
You should be able to use your Digitrax DB150 Command Station with Decoder Pro - The DB150 does not support 'reading' of CV values. After installing Decoder Pro, how have you got it configured on your computer? Can you do 'anything' like look at Loconet packets or 'slots'? I have a DCS100 attached to my Windows XP system with a PR3. A quick review of the HW manager showed me what port Decoder Pro was assigned and I made the change to the Decoder Pro software. A re-start of Decoder Pro and I was in operation.

In your preferences settings for DecoderPro, do you have DB150 selected as the command station?
Although I suspect the real problem is the drivers and/or serial port. How did you verify that the PC is talking to the PR3? If you hook a power supply to the PR3 and use the PR3 Mode option in JMRI, do the lights change on the PR3 from one mode to the other? If this works, then open up the Loconet Monitor tool and run a train with your throttle. You should see data flow by every time you turn the throttle knob or press a function button.
If you can control the PR3 mode, but can't see anything in Loconet Monitor - check the Loconet cable you are using to connect the PR3 to the DB150. Use the LT1 tester that came with your system, with a throttle plugged in as well you should get all 4 lights on, without a throttle plugged in to Loconet you will only get 3. Anything less and the cable is no good.
You might also want to scrounge up a different USB cable, there have been reports of the supplied one being bad. Mine works OK, but maybe you got a bad one. It's a common USB A to USB B cable, often used for USB printers.
If changing the mode in JMRI doesn;t do anything to the PR3, then try another cable, and if not that then recheck your driver installation. You must follow the directions EXACTLY and NEVER let Windows install anything - Windows does NOT include suitable drivers, they are in the Digitrax download (the latest version) or on the CD that came with the PR3. In Device Manager you should see a USB device that comes and goes when you plug and unplug the PR3, and also a serial port under the COMM and LPT ports section - the COMM port that shows up when you plug in the PR3 is the one to select in the JMRI preferences settings.

The setting for the DB150 command station in Decoder pro don't show up with PR3 selected. But i if I select MS100 then i have the option to select DB150.
I wasn't sure if I should be setting it to MS100 since the the PR3 is a MS100 emulator.
As far as between the pc and PR3. I do get the flashing red status light on the PR3 when sending any throttle or commands to turn track power on. But it don't turn on the power. That was with the PR3 in the interface mode.
I'l check with the monitor when using the throttle to see if the data stream is showing.
I can use the PR3 in programing mode to read and set decoders on the program track.
The loco net cable being bad was the first thing i thought of. But I do get all 4 green lights when the throttle is pluged in and 3 when it's not.
I will try another cable. I'm also a IT guy so have a few extra USB cables around.
I did use the drivers off the CD not the Windows ones.
On the monitor i am able to see the data stream when using the hand held throttle.
It does show the speed steps even when using the JMRI throttle.
Now when try to turn track power on from the JMRI throttle it's saying that the command was accepted blind ( no responce will be sent) Then next line is the Master is busy.
I am also able read write the options menu for the DB150.
I had the it set as PR3 stand-alone in the JMRI settings. There is no option for just PR3. So i set it to Loco net stand alone to try that and it works perfectly.I'm able to run them from the pc and my IPhone. Now i just need to find out why the turnouts don't respond to pc commands.

What kind of turnout stationary decoders are you using?
