I have had that happen now and then when I installed a decoder, I use mostly Digitrax, so what I do now is do a reset of the decoder first thing. But I got to say, it is funny to see a engine go supersonic on the first click of the throttle
Ferro,
Try changing CV29 to a value of "34". This turns off the DC mode of a dual (DC/DCC) decoder so that it will only operate on DCC. I had to do this with one of my locomotives and it took care of the problem.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
I have installed an NCE silent decoder in a diesel. The problem I have is one speed, fast. Another decoder works but I have no control over it. Does any out there know how to correct these problems.
