It pays to read ads carefully.  A lot of websites are not updated in a timely manner.

Did you call then to ask what  was going on?

Someone might have keyed in the incorrect date by error.

I could not pull up the item in question so I did not find the add.

Litchfield Station was sold when Bruce and Linda decided to retire.  As near as I can tell, the new owner has not done anything about updating the web site.  It was no typographical error on their part -- the offer was made in 2010 but the web site has not been updated since.

I have had not problem with Litchfield and I have ordered from them after Bruce sold out.

I stay in contact with them and I check the site maybe once a week. When I see something that does not look correct, I contact Litchfield and they do respond. Many would rather Rant than go to the source I find in may forums. And then, some have to be led by the hand for whatever reason.

Stuff changes regularly in the DCC area plus I am in some Yahoo DCC groups where Bruce contributes.

May are stuck in one forum and sometimes miss a lot of what is happening in DCC.

Contact them if for no other reason than to give them a heads up on their website. It is confusing but the dates are correct. Most business owners will go out of their way to keep a happy customer.

Years ago, Bruce had an incredibly low price on UR91's for $90. He sold me the one ordered  for that price after politely notifying me of the mistake. Gave him all of my business and club orders after that. The mistake on his site was corrected immediately.

The ad is still there so I emailed them about there website problem.

I just assumed that the date was wrong since it was over a year old.
