Steve,
I just recently purchased the P2K E7 SP Daylight AB set with DCC & Sound at Internet hobbies. If you keep looking and searching, you can find them still.

blabride I agree but I have not found any of the Proto 2000 in Daylight SP with the sound left. Maybe Ill keep watching ebay. A;though things are getting ridiculous. I guess the price of gas has people not heading to train shows and shopping on ebay instead. Thanks Steve B

Steve, check your PM.
Wadda ya mean I'm old ? Just because I remember gasoline at 9 cents a gallon and those big coal burning steamers.
I agree with Randy -- buy them with the sound already installed. That will be cheaper and easier in the long run.
If the new run, check the price for the same thign with the DCC and sound in it, the difference is usually less than what it costs to go buy the sound decoder and the speakers.

Hello,
Has anyone put DCC sound into any of the newer run Walthers E7's? I know they come with DCC and sound but the ones I am looking at now at a good price come standard DC.
If so what did you use and how much trouble was it. any issues with lighting? I think the new run has a place for two speakers as my KCS E7 seems to have two.
Any advice would be appreciated.
ThanksSteve B
