Glad to see you figured it out, and also glad you poseted on what worked. That will probably help someone else. Beats the hit and runs where we never find out if the problem was solved.

Since replying to Randy's post I have solved the problem. I found that I had a power wire plug supplied by Bachman that does the job. It's actually listed on their site as a "short red power wire" for their EZ DCC system, not the Dynamis system, but it plugs into the power receptacle on the Dynamis command station as well. I've tested it as the connection to a programming track section which is connected with an electrically isolated "main" section (isolated with insulated track connectors on each rail) which is powered from the Dynamis Pro Box. I am able to read and write CVs on the programming track. Yea! When not in programming mode all track sections are powered via the main track connection from the Pro Box.
Randy- Thanks for your reply. Bachmann actually does document this output in the Pro Box instructions. You are right, the track output from the Dynamis command station goes to isolated program track and the main track output goes from the Pro Box.
The problem is that they only supply ONE track connector for TWO track output connections. The programming track is needed to read CV values, so I do want to make track hook-ups per their instructions. So if I'm going to use the supplied track connector on the Pro Box for the main track then I need to jury-rig a connector for the programming track from the command station OR use the jack plug receptacle. But what jack connector to use?? Any thoughts??
Thanks!
On the ESU Navigator, which the Dynamis is based, that seems to be the program track output. If Bachmann doesn't document it I wouldn't make any attempts to conenct anything there. Dynamis does not implement all of the Navigator's features.
There is a jack-plug socket on the Bachmann Dynamis DCC command station which accepts a 3.5mm jack plug, but Bachmann does not provide any further information. Is an audio plug to be used; one with leads for left/right channels? How are the two leads modified to connect to right and left rails?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Dan
