I just solder the 8 pin plug to the decoder wires. I have not seen the inside of the cleaning car.
If you are not very familiar with what is available, ask Litchfield Station. They have answered me before. No doubt they will have a small decoder already connected to the eight pin plug.

I also found the below link in a Google search. Don't forget about Google. Many times you can get a quicker answer.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
Went to atlas web site and also the directions do not have any idea what goes in the plug.
Thanks will check it out.
I would use the Digitrax DZ125 decoder. Good for Z, N and HO scale and 1 amp with two light functions. That is the smallest I have used. About the size of a dime but a little thicker.
In the future, go to the manufactures website and find the decoder specs. See what will fit in your loco. You will have to do some homework maybe.
Also, try to ask here first, not after.
Anybody know what type of decoder will fit inside this car.
Tried a NCE N14IP and its to big.
Any help will be thankfully
