Question is installing the Front Two Ditch's and the Two Red's; Would I have to use the Blue Common 4 more times here and a Resistor on Each LED or something a little easier here so I don't have so much wiring.

I don't know what would be easier.  The blue wire can be tapped into anywhere. The 4 wires don't have to go all the way to the board.

I do have some Fibre Optics that I have never tried yet and wondering if I could put Two of the Fibre Optics pieces in front of 1 LED to get the light projection through?

Yes you could but I think that would be a lot harder than running the extra wire.

Yes, blue common to each and every LED. And each LED should have its own resistor. You can theoretically put multiple stands of fiber optics in front of a single light source - but other than making it easier to actually light up the ditch lights I don't see how this would help you much here, to get the proper flashing effect with the ditch lights you need two independing light sources on two different function outputs.

Help!!! Installing Multiple LED's
Posted by Magnum019 on Saturday, January 8, 2011 2:52 PM

I just purchased the Digitrax SDH164D sound/motor decoder and planning on installing multiple lights in a P42.

Front, Rear, Ditch and the Red.

Question is installing the Front Two Ditch's and the Two Red's; Would I have to use the Blue Common 4 more times here and a Resistor on Each LED or something a little easier here so I don't have so much wiring.

I do have some Fibre Optics that I have never tried yet and wondering if I could put Two of the Fibre Optics pieces in front of 1 LED to get the light projection through?

Thanks for the Response.
