I have done that with a 750 using a Optivisor and WLC100 Weller soldering station. Below is a photo of the soldering station but the main thing is the Conical soldering iron tip. Some small 35 to 40 watt pencil irons have a tip like this.
Just in case, below is a photo of one of my 750's.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
Should be pretty straight forward. Just take your time.

Thanks for the reply.
I will try that. I was not sure if it was as "easy" (or obvious) as that. I was hesitant to cut the shrink wrap to expose the area. I appreciate the tip.

Just peel back the heat shrink, find the spot where the wire broke off and solder it back on. Use a low wattage iron for the job.
A purple speaker wire for one of my TSU-750's has separated from the decoder.
It broke off right where it goes under the shrink wrap.
I did a few searches on the web for a fix and could not find any.
Does anyone have a good fix for this?
