Pages 7 and 8 of the Hare instructions give you step-by-step procedures for programming. Make sure you have the jumper on the Hare set to programming mode and are using the NCE main line programming and not the programming track..
It would also be highly advisable to have no locomotives with decoders anywhere on the layout while programming the Hare.
I have an NCE system and I am trying to program a smart route on the Hare. I have followed the instructions and have successfully programed the primary address but when I try to program a secondary or Smart Address it is not working. I now understand that the Smart Route will only work by programing CV49. I tried to do that also but it still is not working. Can someone help me as to the process to follow or what I might be doing wrong to set up a smart route?
Thank you in advance fro your help
