I have had two On30 connies fitted with Tsunami decoders for some time. The chuff synchro never seemed right. Unleash the power of the tsunami!!. Dead easy and very successfull using Soundtraxx 's own cam kit. The Bachmann has the wheels insulated at the axle with a plastic boss. The cam disc ,once the centre hole is carefully opened out fits nicely over this and secures to the insde of the driver with CA glue. Some silver paint bled into the gap between tyre and disc gives the required electrical contact. The wiper is fixed to the copper clad strip which i epoxied into the ash pan. I left the original wiper to the wheel in situ it doesn't affect the cam wiper. I replaced the wiring with a soundtraxx wiring loom to the tender and changed the appropriate CV to "cam" and Bingo. The difference is worth the effort. No more fiddling with the Chuff CV's. I can concentrate on the other numerous settings.
