One thing you should check.
Make sure the PSX trip point is not the same or greater than the power available from your DCC system.
In other words, if your DCC system trips at 2 amps, and the PSX is set for 3 amps, the PSX will never trip, but your booster will.
You really need to read the instructions for your DCC system to see what it's trip point is, and the instructions for the PSX to see what the factory set trip point is.

I think you should contact Tony's about this problem -- you may have a defective PSX.
If all three LEDs are blinking on and off simultaneously, it's the PSX circuit breaker shutting it down because of a wiring short circuit between the PSX and main power booster, or the main booster is shutting off because of a short.
Instead of watching the PSX LEDs, watch the power booster's LEDs. If they are blinking on and off, you have a short in your wiring that is shutting the booster off.
You need to get a voltmeter and see what the input voltage reading is to the PSX.
I have a Tony's Trains PSX1 DCC Circuit Breaker installed for one of my power divisions. I keep getting what I think is a short indicator as all three LED's keep blinking. The directions call for only two of the LED's to light if there is a short (at least as I understand them). but all three are blinking on mine. Well I guess this will definitely put my NMRA AP - Electrical on hold. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
