While talking with a Soundtraxx rep. at the 75th NMRA show, he said that the Athearn SD70ACe's and the Gevo's will have newly designed sounds to be put in the models, he said they are still working on them, but they will prototypical sounds, bells and horns.

I'm sure it's the same board as the TSU-GN1000. EMD 710 version.  They may have upgraded to Ace specific sounds

  I suspect it is a customized version of a Tsunami decoder just for Athearn.  Soundtraxx did a customized steam Tsunami for Bachmann-Spectrum last year.  It should have a V16-710 turbo sound file in it.

Does anyone know what tsunami board athearn is using, is it the emd 710?
