i would like to put tsunami sound in my SD70 ACE. witch tsunami sound board should i use?
You can do a Google search and find out what is used for a Prime mover. Then go to the SoundTraxx site and see what they have. There are sound samples you can listen to and download to your PC.
You can also contact Litchfield Station and ask. Litchfield Station has always worked closely with SoundTraxx. I buy all my DCC stuff from Litchfield. They do answer email.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
tanks i believe the TSU-1000 should work
BNSFrailfan, what version of MTH loco do you have? Is it the DCC Ready one as in your title with question mark? or is it the DCS equipped one? If it's the later you will have to modify a couple of things to make it work. If it's the DCC ready one you should be good to go with the one David noted. I use the same decoder in mine and it works great.

I have the dcc ready version with the nmra 8 pin plug
i should only need the tsu-1000 and just plug into the 8 pin all the lights and everyhting else seem to b already wired into the stock board
I don't believe the TSU-1000 or any other Tsunami comes with an 8 pin plug. My understanding is that if you want an 8 pin plug you can buy one from them and solder the wires yourself.
The part number for the 8 pin plug is on page 5 of the installation manaul.
Page 27 of the same manual shows the wire colors for each pin. It's easy to do.

yea i kinda left that part out i have the 8 pin adapter and was going to solder the tsu-1000 wires into it and plug it into the 8 pin on the mth board
