I mounted mine under the layout with keyboard slide rails bought at Home Depot.
I have a 2 x 8 foot switching layout. I built a small shelf on the front fascia. I have the Zephyr on one end, next to it I narrowed the shelf and put down an 18" piece of track for my programming track.
Mine is mounted on the facia with Velcro. I added super glue to the Velcros adhesive backing to make sure it wouldn't peel off.

Glenn:
I suppose that there are as many answers to your question as there are Zephyr users. I mounted mine on a small shelf near the center of my yard complex. I like the controls for switching. I have a DT400r that I use for over the road control. Some folks mount the Zephyr in an out of the way location and rely solely on DT400 or UT series throttles.

I have a Zephyr Booster/Command Station which is adequate for my Branchline railroad.
The only problem I have with it is the case...
So my question is - How do you mount your Zephyr? On the Facia? On/under the benchwork? Specialized shelf?
