Decoder pro and NCE
Posted by Blind Bruce on Friday, July 9, 2010 5:07 PM

I just downloaded the latest version of decoder pro after first uninstalling the older version. The hardware selection menu still only has Digitrax options. What do I need to do to use my NEC radio power cab?

You should be able to go into your preferences and easily change the settings.

If for some reason the settings won't change you can try deleting your preference startup file DecoderProConfig2.xml if starting JMRI with DecoderPro or PanelProConfig2.xml if starting JMRI with PanelPro. The next time you start JMRI you will be asked to setup your preferences.

One you have the NCE USB adapter, start up Decoder Pro and select 'Edit', then 'Prefrences' - You can select NCE USB off of the menu.
