CV 29 has several functions you should be aware of.

Here's a calculator that allows you to select the functions and get the value to enter.

Since you have an Advance throttle, read CV29 it should be 34 for analog mode off or 38 for analog mode enable. If not write either 34 or 38 whatever suit you.

can't change to a 4 digit address

Hope you are all enjoying the 4th of July weekend.

Well here is my problem.  I have a Proto 2000 F7 with DCC & Sound.  It runs fine on address 3.  When I go through the steps to program a 4 digit address.  Nothing happens.  It is stuck on address 3.  I can program a 2 digit address though.  I have reset the loco using the wand that came with it.  I also tested my  DCC system by programing another F7s address to 4 digit with no problems.  Anyone have any other ideas?   I'm using a MRC express with an Advance handheld.  Thanks.
