our shop has just ordered 3 radio and 3 regular Cab06s.  They are similar to the 04s but with an LED screen.

That's Intermediate, not Immediate.

Oops!   Thanks, Rich.  Maybe that was just hopefulness on my part.

Power Cabs?  Pro Cabs?

My guess(?) is that they'll be similar to the CAB-05 throttles...

...except they will come with an LED display.  Again, it's just a guess.

Just discovered the following from Tony's Train Exchange web site this evening:

NCE Announces 2 New Immediate Intermediate Throttles

Features of the CAB-06 and CAB-06r:

• 4 digit LED display
• 29 function support
• Up to 6 recalls
• Can now control individual accessories as well as macros

 

NCE expects to start shipping these around August 2010.  No pictures and nothing mentioned or posted about it on the NCE web site yet.
