Bachmann Dynamis - How do I program E-Z Track DCC Turnouts?
Posted by tgv1138 on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 9:15 AM

I'm a lifetime model railroader who just bought my first DCC system. I went with the Bachmann Dynamis for ease of use so I can let my young boys experiment as well. I also bought 2 Bachmann E-Z Track DCC turnouts that I just can't seem to get to work at all. According to the instructions that came with the switches, I need the E-Z Command controller to program the decoders to a new channel. Does anyone know how to program/operate these switches with Dynamis?

The Bachmann system is not very popular because of it's limited capabilities, but there are a few users in here.  This reply will bump your question back up to the top of the list where you stand a better chance of having one of them see it.  I hope one of them can help you.

You could also try doing a google of dynamis and EZ track DCC turnouts.

Might be a Bachmann group out there.

Here is the process as described for a DIgitrax system, I would have thought that the process would be the same, just the specifics of what to do with the Dynamis.

Did your system come with an instruction manual?  If not, here is the online PDF manual, page 15 tells you how to operate turnouts and accessories.

Good news. I also posted the question on Bachmann's forum and there is indeed a trick to getting this to work. I was referred to this post for details...

Great to see you found it.

I see you might be a neighbor based on that avatar. Smile
