How to program function keys on NCE vs DIGITRAX Throttles
Posted by wbmfishman on Friday, May 7, 2010 9:47 AM

 Hi.

I have install a digitrax dh163p in a proto 2000 E-6 with a MARS light and followed the special instructions posted on their web site for E-6 with MARS light. < http://www.digitrax.com/appnote_p2ke6e7.php  >.  It is suppose to work on F1 on a digitrax throttle.  It does now work with F1 on my NCE throttle.  I think F1 on Digitrax may be different than F1 on NCE.  Any ideas on how to get F1 on the Nce throttle to correspond to F1 on the Digitrax throttle to get the MARS light to work?????

Thanks

There is no difference between F1 on an NCE throttle and F1 on a Digitrax throttle.

When a function is remapped within the decoder, it makes no diffrence at all which DCC system's throttle you are using.  The decoder determines the function's result, not the throttle.
