The only 'shared' CVs are the ones you'd want to program both the same anyway - address, momentum. The ones that control the sounds are all well above the range used by the motor control and function settings on the 165. But you do definitely have to program the address again after you attach the Soundbug, otherwsie the 165 will be using the programmed address and the Soundbug will still be on 3.

Did you program the 165 address before you installed the SoundBug? If so, you'll need to repeat the programming process. The SoundBug works together with the 165-series decoders, but it does have its own address.

I installed a Digitrax DH165AO decoder and added a Digitrax SFX004 (Soundbug) decoder into a locomotive with the address of 65. The sound dosn't work unless I use the adress 03. I know that I have to program the sound decoder to use address 65. How will I synchronize or program both of them to use address 65?
