I got this idea from the below site. Wokrs very well.

http://home.cogeco.ca/~rpaisley4/CircuitIndex.html#index

I a;so have his DCC Amp meter adapter. I connect that amp meter adapter to a PM128, 3 1/2 digit panel meter for constant monitoring

I have a LokSound decoder in the loco. The DC power pack feeds 13.55 volts DC to the controller.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

One piece of calibration information - since you have a PowerCab, it has a built-in ammeter. How do the readings compare to Rob's circuit?

I will have to do that. I made the DCC Amp Meter for our club layout that uses the 5 amp NCE Power Pro. We only run about seven sound engines at one time.

No problems at the layout. Just curious.
