Tsunami decoder w/ Nce cab
Posted by ornreecuss on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 7:36 PM

Hi I have a Tsunami TSU-1000 Decoder and I am using a NCE Power cab.

I can only get the head light to come on with button #6. Not with Headlight button.

I would also like to install another head light in my F3. An have one light oscillate.

NCE hand book does not give much  info.

I use the NCE Power Cab and Tsunami decoders. Download the TSU documents from the SoundTraxx site. There is plenty of info there. Reset the decoder. CV8 and enter 8. That will reset the decoder to factory specs. Get the documents before doing anything else. The NCE manual only covers the operation of the Power Cab, not very specific to decoder brands.

If all else fails, follow instructions. Store the links in Favorites.

Below will be a usefull document in the future. Store the link.

Don't foeget, you can download the documents to your PC.

I have the same setup as you and have not had any problems. Follow the above advice and see what happens.

Please tell us exactily what you did. Did you reset the decoder like was suggested? It will help a lot if you give more information.
