Legacy DCC you mean? I have an NCE PHP system and it runs my MTH loco with protosound 3.0 just fine.

Are we talking O scale here?  I would post this question on the Classic Toy Trains section of the forum, you will find a bunch of Legacy users there.

It is an NCE DCC system, but don't worry about it.  I am fairly sure you are asking about using the MTH DCS compared to the Lionel Legacy control system?  If this is the case, as I wrote before, post this question on the Classic Toy Trains section of the forum.
