Type the phrase "model railroad electronics" into Google and take you pick from among the many pages of links that show up.

Another handy search phrase would be "555 timer circuits."

On my preKatrina layout I used a 555 light relay that was simple.

I got the circuit diagram from a book called electronic projects for model railroaders. Its a simple circuit that only has a 555 chip, two diodes, two resistors, one cap,one 1 turn pot,and a relay.I've lost all of my layout to Katrina as well as all of my books.

I've hunted all over the internet to no avail. I can find bunches of circuits using transistors ect. but they are more complicated and harder to build. I need about [50]fifty of these and would like to find the old circuit if i could.                                              Thanks for any help
