Are there two wires for the input of each cab on the Controller? Check it with everything disconnected, but I think at some point in the chain, the Atlas componens conenct one side all together as a common. What's happening is there is probably a bypass of one side of the circuit via Cab B. Problem is, you can't just disconnect one of the Cab B wires or the turntable fed off the Controller might not work. Although, you might want to test it with a meter (using the ohms or continuity setting). Ddisconnect the controller from everything, and check for connectivity between the top terminal for Cab A and eithe of the Cab B terminals. Then try the bottom terminal fro Cab A and the Cab B terminals. If there IS a connection, try hooking both input wires of the Analog Master to Cab A on the MRC. Connect one terminal of Cab B to the input on the Controller that did NOT have the commectivity when tested. If there's no operation on Cab B try the other terminal at the MRC side.

Don't just willy-nilly try this, if you short through the ANalog Master you could damage it. Test the circuit continuity before connecting anything with power in it to be sure it does work that way.

I suppose I was not too clear.  I have a Blueline Mikado enroute to me, I wanted something with sound to entertain my son.  I have an old fashioned DC "block" 2 cab layout, using old Locos (15 yrs) They all run well.  I have a Dual MRC throttle (cab-A and cab-B) going to an Atlas controller, then on to 3 Atlas selectors to control the blocks.  There is a common feed off controller.  I wanted the BLI analog master contoller to use the whistle and bell. I had the BLI installed between throttle for cab-A and the Cab-A hookups on the Atlas controller.  RED to throttle and BLACK to Cab-A on Atlas controller (track). (Atlas Controller has the Cab A & B inputs and turntable selection).  No juice to train.  Take BLI out of circuit...All runs well.  If I hook Throttle to BLI to a piece of test track with an old loco, it runs! I just wanted to Blueline to be able to blow whistle/bell if it was powered by Cab-A.

Hi! sorry you are having trouble.  The BLI controller is mainly for programming your loco's. You can program both DC and DCC loco's if they have a dual mode decoder.  The controller should be hooked up to your programming track and not between your power pack or dcc controller and the track.  This will circumvent it's use and it will not work. n What I like about the BLI DC Analog Master controller is the fact that you can scroll to a CV and change its value without a lot of hassle.  I have a lenz and it is just too much trouble to do the same thing as fast as under a minute.

Hope this helps

So what are you asking?  Your question makes no sense.  Things are working -- what more do you need?

New Guy..Help!! Blueline DC Master Analog Controller and Atlas DC track plan

I have set up the old Great Eastern Trunk layout from Atlas.  Works great.  I bought a BLI DC Analog Master controller to install inline between powerpack 1 and cab A on Atlas Controller.  Older loco (no sound or dcc) does move.  Powerpack to BLI Analog controller to test track..train moves.  All switches (selectors) set accordingly for Cab A.  Need Help!!
