Trix Big Boy and Tsunami CV's
Posted by KenBuddi on Sunday, January 10, 2010 1:01 PM

Hi,

Does anyone have a CV listing for this decoder that sounds good.I seem to have way to much Rod clank(I think)and it over  whelms the rest of the sounds.I've tried to change the individual volume or disable that particular sound but I've not been able to fix it.I don't think to should sound like that, but I may be wrong(believe it or not) This is my first Tsunami but I've installed other Sound Traxx Decoders.Any Help will greatly appreciated.

Here's a link to the manual. Page 66 is where the individual sounds are (Pg 66 of the pdf and pg 64 of the actual manual).  If you're not sure of the actual sound then start in program track mode and record the original settings for each sound.  Then set one at a time to 0 until you find the culprit. Once you find it, increase the setting until it's where you want it. http://www.soundtraxx.com/manuals/tsutechreference.pdf

Good Luck

I found the information for this problem a few months back, but didn't have much success reducing the 'noise' by reducing the input values to the CV in question.  No idea why.

Thanks, David...never could figure out why it wouldn't cut down when under way, but it didn't happen.  I'll try again with it stationary.
