I have a newly purchased N scale Athearn Big Boy, Digitrax Super Chief with Dt400 throttle and I haved tried to program just the address of the locomotive and keep getting the error that ther is no page. In the manual that comes with the loco it says the Decoder accepts paged programing. Any ideas what the problem is?
I've had success with reprogramming mine with my DT400/DCS200 setup.However it doesn't go with the said option,I've had to try the other options described in the DT400 manual.One worked but I don't remember wich one it was,you'll have to give it a try.If neither works,I then can be of no help to you.Good luck.
Use direct mode (Pd) on your programming track. If that fails, Operations mode programming on the main track should work with the Big Boy.
Pretty sure I had to program mine on the main to get settings to save correctly.
